Phase 2 of the HSE’s #safersites campaign is currently underway.
They are visiting construction companies on sites to focus on control measures in place to minimise exposure to construction dust and ensuring welfare facilities are adequate.
They have already found welfare facilities to be in adequate with no means for washing hands and no toilet door!
Under The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, Employers have a legal duty to provide adequate welfare facilities.
